El Yacimiento / The Site
“Alexandre Dumas is not dead. He now lives in Madrid and his name is Luis Montero Manglano. Christian Vachon”. Les libraires.
Afghanistan, 2025. Equipped with the latest scientific technology, the pioneering cultural development company GIDHE decides to send an international team of archaeologists and defence personnel to save the historical remains of Tell Teba. The tense political situation in the area and escalating violence have endangered the archaeological complex, which is close to a mysterious enclave known as Alexander’s Ruin, a strange place that has been the source of legends for centuries. Only the GIDHE can rescue the hidden treasures. As they embark on a search against the clock, they must contend with the threat of the Talibans and the growing tension among the members of the group. But none of that can compare to the danger buried in the site itself: an ancient enigma that has been hidden for thousands of years, far more terrifying and deadly than anyone could ever imagine.
Using his exceptional narrative skills and extensive historical knowledge, Luis Montero Manglano has written a fast-paced thriller full of intrigue and action, in which myth and legend meet art, history and scientific progress along the lines of Michael Crichton’s best novels.
